The Guy Behind the Magnifying Glass

Not that he likes the spotlight, but we thought we should introduce you to the mind behind Sherlock Ohms—Matt Hudson. With an inquisitive mind and a love for both technology and the arts, Matt has always been driven by curiosity and creativity.

From helping his dad mix sound at church, to tinkering with computers and electronics at school, and even performing in local plays and musicals, Matt's passion for learning and exploration shaped his journey.

After completing his electrical apprenticeship in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial environments, Matt worked full-time in the arts with a local production company. There, he honed his technical expertise in production and Audio-Visual installations as the resident electrician. When the company closed at the end of 2023, Matt took a moment of reflection and decided it was time to create something truly unique for his community.

Combining his technical experience, electrical skills, and artistic background, Matt founded Sherlock Ohms Tech and Electrical.
